Republicans And The Affordable Care Law

With the numerous of things happening in our everyday lives, I chose to write about the “Affordable Care Act” (ACA). I know there are things like the budget cuts of the ‘Food Stamp’ program, and the ‘Unemployment Extensions’ are far more important to some than the subject I chose; but bare with me while I try to intertwine all three.

Tomorrow (March 31, 2014) is the last day to sign-up for health care under the ACA for those who need it the most, everybody qualify for this law, but the Law is primarily for those who have no means of affording health care. With that said, let’s deal with facts and facts only. Before I go there, my bad, let me just say this; lots of people, especially Republicans are branding the President as a liar and a weakling. My response to the liar part is this, every one of the people claiming to have lost their health care because of the ACA have all been proven to be liars. As for the weakling part on foreign policy, ask Osama Bin Laden is the President weak on foreign policy; at least he didn’t make jokes about no ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction’ (WMD) in Iraq. Those of you who are continuing to read this, thank you for allowing me to get that little point across.

I understand how certain people will disagree with the ACA; they’re well within their rights to do so. However, the way my parents taught me and my siblings; if you disagree with a person point of view, at least come up with something to show why you disagree.

When it comes to Republicans, the majority of the group are campaigning on ‘Repeal and Replace’ the ACA, just in case no one have noticed, Republicans have not put one bill to Congress specifically what will replace the ACA. Oh yeah, Republicans have bloviated with rhetoric about what they would do; but nothing concrete in layman terms. If Republicans have a real plan for health care, they would bring it to the floor of the House of Representatives and allow each member of Congress to vote on their ‘Health Care Bill’. It’s a reason why that has not happened and why it will never happen; Republicans have no plan in regards to health care.

Enough about Republicans, I blame Democrats, Blacks, and other people of color for the President’s demise when it comes to the ACA. My question to the aforementioned people in this paragraph, who or what in the hell are you scared of when it comes to the Republican Party? We as Democrats and people of color have facts in our behalf when arguing our point, but yet we allow Republicans to repeat lie after lie and bully us down. A perfect example is the fiasco that transpired during a House hearing with Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) when Mr. Issa cut-the-mic when Mr. Cummings was speaking. It took Democrats as a group at least a week to condemn Mr. Issa’s disrespect towards Congressman Cummings.

If we as a people don’t stand up for what we portray it is we believe in, it will not be “Twelve Years a Slave”; it will be mental and societal slavery for the rest of our lives.

President Obama Branded as Weak

Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and most Republicans have branded President Obama as a weak President leading from behind. The latest of the ranting lies Republicans are using to fire-up their brain dead base is to blame President Obama for the events in Ukraine.

My advice to Republicans is to cut Sen. McCain’s umbilical cord so he and other Republicans can recover from their state of denial that they lost their seat at the White House because Barack Hussein Obama won the peoples’ vote to be President.

Russia invaded Georgia while George Bush was President, I will admit Sen. McCain and some Republicans were passionate on that event also; but they didn’t brand Bush as weak. Hummm, you got to remember now, one is Black and one is White.

Enough of the political correctness talk, let’s bend the curve and get to the real meat of why this is happening. John McCain is still pissed because he made history by being the first White guy to lose to a Black guy for President. Sen. McCain’s cohorts are pissed because a Black guy is living in the White House; that’s it, point blank.

All of the stupid talk about the President is weak, is because the Tea Party racists have reached the limit of their shallow brain, and they don’t have the ability mentally to come-up with something relevant to refute President Obama’s positive achievements.

With that said, I blame Democrats and people of color, especially Black people for the pitfalls and quandaries the President has been accosted with. I got just two questions, why are Democrats and Black people afraid of Republicans, and why are we scared to argue our point when the facts are in our behalf?

People of Crimea Vote to Join Russia

With all the critical events happening, or not happening in America today, some will probably question why I’m focusing on events in Ukraine.

Sunday (March 16, 2014), the people of Crimea voted in a referendum to secede from Ukraine and join Russia. One thing for sure, this is the first time nearly all Democrats and Republicans have agreed on anything since Barack Obama became President. President Obama and nearly every member of the House and Senate seem to agree the vote was illegitimate because of Russian troop presence and coercion.

Member after member of the House and Senate, along with the President spoke out with admonition towards Russia for violating the Ukrainian Constitution and International Law.

Here’s the reason why I’m writing on this matter. I’m trying to figure out why our leaders are expressing so much outrage in regards of the events in Ukraine, and don’t show any outrage in regards of the voter restriction laws being passed in States here in America.

Voting is the only right every citizen, no mater what their background is, has the right to express true freedom. But yet, every State controlled by Republicans are passing laws to restrict voter’s rights; exclaiming it’s all to prevent voter fraud.

In a country with over 300,000,000 people, less than ten people have been cited for trying, and I accentuate the word trying to vote illegally. We all know why all of a sudden Republicans are passing laws to suppress certain people from voting; it all starts with a Black man living in the White House.

Frank Luntz Polling of Millennials

Frank Luntz the Fox News Republican pollster, strategist, and consultant recently ran a focus group of young people (millennials). Before I give my take on what I gathered from the group, I noticed most of the group was people of color; which made me focus on how bad a job Democrats are doing to get their message to young people.

As usual with Mr. Luntz, the majority of his questions to the group were, “What are the things you’re most disappointed with President Obama.” Most of the answers were the President broke his promises to create better and more jobs for young people, to protecting their privacy. Some members of the group cited the IRS investigating Conservative organizations, replying after a loaded question saying, “If the IRS targets certain groups to investigate, what’s to stop them from targeting us.” This is where; in my opinion Democrats do a poor job of preventing Republican lies to gain traction.

Every knowledgeable American knows the IRS targeted and investigated Liberal and Progressive groups also, but you’ll never know it because Democrats for some reason will not fight with vigor for what they assert they believe in; even when the facts are clearly in their favor.

Democrats better wake-up, if they lose young voters, Republicans will gain control of every branch of government in the near and far future.

Democrats need to hold focus groups with millennials to educate and refute Republican lies. The focus groups shouldn't be based solely on what Republicans are lying about, but mostly on what Democrats are doing to make young Americans lives better, backed-up with facts.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform on Steroids

A big push led by the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) president and CEO Janet Murguia and Dr. Victoria DeFrancesco Soto for Immigration Reform and a halt to deportations, or should I say NCLR and Dr. Victoria DeFrancesco Soto has resorted to threatening President Obama with a lawsuit if he doesn't use his Executive Power to stop deportations.

I hope everybody see and understand why this sudden big push for Immigration Reform is happening. Recently President Obama started an initiative for ‘Young Black Men’ called ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ to help Black youth. Immigration Reform advocates are pretty much saying, “If he can do that for Black people, he should be able to do the same for Hispanics.”

There definitely should be a ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform Law’ passed without hurting the people the law is suppose to help, and the law should be passed sooner than later. With that said, first of all, Black people didn't come to America on their own. Secondly, every immigration advocate knows it’s Republicans who are stopping such a law from passing.

What immigration advocates should do, instead of branding the President as “Deporter In Chief” is encourage some Hispanics to stop voting for Republicans who view your concerns as meaningless.

Why Democrats Failed in Special Election in Florida

It’s not hard to figure out why Democrat Alex Sink lost to Republican David Jolly in Tuesdays’ (March 11, 2014) special election for Florida’s 13^th Congressional District. The answer is simple; Democrats are COWARDS, plain and simple. Forget about the fact that a Republican has held the District since 1983.

Here are the facts:

• George Bush jokes about not finding ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction’ Democrats barely said a word. President Obama jokes about the ‘Affordable Care Law’ Republicans are scathing in their response. Democrats barely say a word.

• Republicans lie about how bad the ‘Affordable Care Law’ is; Democrats squeamishly talk about fixing the law.

• Republicans lie about the tragedy in Benghazi where four Americans were murdered; Democrats refuse to say a word about the lie George Bush told to start a war in Iraq where thousands died.

• Republicans lie abut the IRS investigating only Conservative groups, knowing the IRS investigated groups such as Acorn and Planned Parenthood. Democrats allow them to get away with it.

• Republicans lie about pretty much every issue, and keep lying about it even when they are proven to be wrong. Democrats have facts and are too COWARDLY to call Republicans liars.

• Republicans play hardball, Democrats play softball.

I could go on and on about this, but the bottom line is Democrats are COWARDS because they are passive and submissive.

Twelve Years A Slave

Everybody who knows me begged me not to watch this movie. It took me most of the night to finish because I had to continuously pause to gain my composure. I recommend the movie to every Black man, and all children; the reason I didn't include Black women because they already know.

I believe Black women hurt more than Black men when they see a Black man have to play a subservient roll just to keep his job so his children can be fed.

With that said, it’s hard for me to mentally conceive any Black man to entertain the thought that he’s second to anything on earth. I already know some Black men will read this and shoot back and say, “I don’t know what he’s talking about, I’m subservient to nothing.” I got your point, but for some reason unbeknownst to me, they refuse to let White people know it.

Here’s what I do know, everyone on earth who is not Black know for a fact they would have been an extinct race trying to endure slavery. Black men need to where a badge of honor on their chest to let the world know they’re second to none.

With Black-On-Black crime running rampant, the Black race might become extinct sooner than later if knowledgeable Black men don’t step up.

How Did We Let This Happen

How did we allow a human being to murder another human being because he/she was caught breathing while Black?

How did we allow our brain to accept a human being to murder another human being because he/she was caught somewhere playing his/her music too loud?

How did we as a society allow a sitting member of Congress to call the President a liar while giving the ‘State Of The Union’ to the world; just because the President is Black?

How did we allow a sitting President to lie about ‘Weapons Of Mass Destruction’ that wasn’t there and get away with it?

How did we get to a point to blame Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama for the tragedy that transpired in Benghazi that caused the death of four people, and allow George Bush to get away with causing the death of thousands because he lied about ‘Weapons Of Mass Destruction’ in Iraq?

How did we get to a state of mind that we allow people to get away with lying about they hate the President’s policies, while knowing they’re pissed because a Black man is living in the White House?

I know the answer to each and every one of those questions. The answer is this; Black people are too willing to accept themselves as second class citizens. That’s it, point blank.
